Introducing Quest adventures -Jehan

A big hello to all my peeps! As you must all already be aware, adventure tourism in India is becoming quite the rage these days. This wasn’t the case a couple of years back, but times change, and with it, so do people. Adventure tourism’s picked up in a big way in the recent past with hoards of people looking for quick getaways from their frantic city life, and not to the conventional places they’ve been to time and time over. That spirit of adventure and exploration’s finally kicked in and it’s what’s given adventure in India a major thrust and boosted it forward by leaps and bounds. Read more

Introducing Quest adventures

A big hello to all my peeps!

As you must all already be aware, adventure tourism in India is becoming quite the rage these days. This wasn’t the case a couple of years back, but times change, and with it, so do people. Adventure tourism’s picked up in a big way in the recent past with hoards of people looking for quick getaways from their frantic city life, and not to the conventional places they’ve been to time and time over. That spirit of adventure and exploration’s finally kicked in and it’s what’s given adventure in India a major thrust and boosted it forward by leaps and bounds.

In keeping with this, I’ve set up my very own adventure tourism company, called Quest Adventures, to promote this budding industry that, I believe, has tremendous scope and potential. Aside from this, adventure and activity have always been my greatest passions, from time immemorial. The outdoors have always intrigued me and these factors combined, motivated me to set up Quest. It’s been a long and winding road, and even though Quest is still very much a baby, the response I’ve got has been nothing less than superb and for that, I’m eternally grateful to all you generous souls out there who’ve helped make my dream a reality! Thank you all plenty!

Let’s give you a little insight to help you find your way around. To travel with us across the vast expanse of this marvelous country, we’ve got our site, http://quest-asia.com to aid you in case you’ll are experiencing difficulty navigating. We do organize trips beyond domestic borders as well, but our primary focus lies within national frontiers, so to speak. We, at Quest, believe that India’s a magnificent country with much to be desired and we aspire to fulfill all of those desires. As of now, our main treks can be bifurcated into 3 broad categories, namely those down the coconut-abundant Konkan Coast, those to the snowy, white Himalayas and those venturing into the sandy lands of Rajasthan.

With the Konkan, we expose you to the magnificent, isolated, pristine beaches where the sun shines gold and reflects smoothly on cool blue waters below. We cover the region between the states of Maharashtra and Goa. Most of these beaches are tucked away between rocky cliffs and narrow rivulets, and hence aren’t known of. We take you to these splendid, immaculate beaches, some of which include Velas, Kashid, Mandrem and Arambol. Activities you’ll be exposed to would include kiting, body boarding, canyoning, camping, river rafting and the likes.

Further up north, our trips into the burning hot sands of Rajasthan allow you the opportunity to buy, sell and trade camels, courtesy the ever-famous Pushkar Fair.

Way up north, with the mighty, formidable Himalayas, we let you explore the lands of Leh and Ladakh, where the skies are so crystal clear it could literally pierce your line of vision and where the stars shine and sparkle at their brightest. That said, we organize numerous treks, let you summit peaks and a whole lot more.

With that, we conclude all our major trips, but are always open to suggestions and queries at any point in time. Of course, in time, we do plan on venturing out into many different frontiers and exploring more of the country, because there’s plenty that we feel, is worth tapping.

Moving on to something else I’d like to share with you guys. A major breakthrough for me came just a coupl’of months back, when I was contacted by world-renowned magazine, Lonely Planet, to act as a specialist in the field of adventure-tourism and address doubts and answer questions of prospective clients regarding anything adventure related. I’d also like to point out here that, at Quest, we’re always open to receiving emails and sharing information about adventure sports or anything of the sort with those genuinely interested.

Our Quest team is an extremely dedicated and focused one that works to the best of their abilities to make us excel in our field. With each one specializing in their respective area of expertise, it proves to be of great advantage to us, as we’re represented as a cohesive lot, with extensive knowledge about just about anything, not just solely adventure tourism, though it is of course, our biggest strength. We have Cyrus, who handles our photography professionally, Shahryar, who’s our environmentalist, so to speak, Meherzad, who’s completed his MBA and excels at organizational skills, just to name a few. Our trek leaders are super cool, extremely warm, easy-going, friendly, chatty, accommodating and helpful to the absolute T. If you choose to travel with Quest, rest assured, you’ll are bound to have a crazy, wild, mad time because we leave no stone unturned and we dot all our I’s and cross all our T’s.

Not to boast, but we do believe that we’re industry professionals now, be it luxury, roughing and toughing it out, lazing and lounging around or whatever. Either which way, you’re certain to have a splendid time with us, because we love what we do, we believe in it 100% and we never provide you with less than you’ve bargained for.

They say good things don’t last forever, but here at Quest, it’s quite the contrary. We let the good times roll and roll and roll till they snowball into something pretty awesome and absolutely amazing! Come join the bandwagon today!!

Warmest regards and hoping to see you all push, prod and overthrow to make way,

Jehan and the team
